E-RATE ONLINE Partners with the Special Olympics
Local Company Signs on as Presenting Sponsor of the 2011-2011 Young Athletes Program
MONROE, CT (December 8, 2011) – E-RATE ONLINE, a local E-Rate filing management and consulting firm, has recently been named the Presenting Sponsor for the 2011-2012 Young Athletes Program, sponsored by the Special Olympics and the Connecticut Association of Schools.
The Young Athletes Program is a developmentally appropriate sports play program for children between the ages of two and seven who have not yet reached the eligible age to qualify for the Special Olympics. The program is designed to introduce young children with intellectual disabilities to the world of Special Olympics, through activities that foster physical, cognitive and social development. It is also intended to welcome these families into the Special Olympics network of support prior to their official initiation into the program.

Together, with the assistance of E-RATE ONLINE, we hope to enrich many young lives and to help these children realize their promise and potential.”
In addition to a generous donation from E-RATE ONLINE to help fund the activities of the program, employees of the company will be engaging in on-going volunteer opportunities throughout the year, including active participation at local Young Athletes competitions around Connecticut. With their sponsorship, they’ll hold a membership on the Connecticut Association of School Elementary Board of Control. They will also be distributing awards at the Young Athletes year-end events, attending the Michael’s Cup Unified Sports Awards Dinner and taking part in the annual Unified Sports Youth Leadership Summit at Wesleyan University on January 5th, 2012.
